Skiing on the Schnalstal Glacier - the only year-round skiing region in South Tyrol - can also be done from Naturns, as the year-round skiing region is just 24 km from Naturns.

The Schnalstal skiing area with guaranteed snow at 3200 metres high is ideal  for both beginners as well as for old-hands with its diverse pistes. For this reason, many national skiing teams, professional cross-country skiers and biathletes use the year-round skiing region of Schnalstal for training.
